Ski and Snowboard Lessons in Le Grand Bornand

Le Grand Bornand is the perfect resort to learn to ski or snowboard in, to progress or to build confidence – and here we are able to offer ski and snowboard lessons to help you achieve your goals.

It has an excellent choice of nursery slopes and beginner’s areas, including the recently improved Rosay sector with its 230 metre covered travellator lift, which makes Le Grand Bornand hard to beat for those just getting started!

For those who can already ski, you will find just the right mix of pistes for all abilities and you will soon progress through from Green to Blue, and why not onto the lovely confidence-boosting Red pistes of the Maroly sector!

We work in close partnership with the Ecole du Ski Francais (ESF) of Le Grand Bornand and have a dedicated team of their English-speaking ski instructors who we use regularly for our guests. They understand what you want and provide a friendly and welcoming environment in which to relax and learn.

For all of our accommodations in Le Grand Bornand and for our own chalet-hotel, the Aravis Lodge, we offer a lesson booking service for private lessons of 1 or 2 hours, to accommodate your personal requirements. These are usually from 09:00 – 10:00, 09:00 – 11:00 and 11:00 – 13:00.

Lessons are paid for locally in euros when you check out and payment can be made either by cash or card.

Lessons must be booked in advance – please don’t leave this to the last minute, as they are all subject to availability, and there are a limited number of English-speaking instructors available, especially at peak times. To do so, simply click on the button below to be taken to our Lesson Booking Request Form.

Please note – during high season lesson availability is extremely limited, particularly for 2-hour lessons. Therefore we highly recommend that you check ski lesson availability with us before booking your holiday, if this is a major contributing factor in your booking decision.
