Travel to & from our Ski Holidays in the French Alps

Everything about our format is geared towards providing hassle-free ski holidays which maximise your skiing time – so we try to make the travel to / from your holiday as easy as possible.

Flights are the one major element of your holiday which isn’t included – but you can choose to travel from your preferred airport to our meeting point at Geneva airport. From that point onwards, all your transport is covered by us as part of your package.

Travel to Ski Weekender breaks:

  • A range of low cost flights from UK airports
  • Flexibility to book convenient flight routes & times, at great prices
  • Quick transfers to all resorts
  • Many resorts with 1 hour transfers
  • Travel times tailored to minimise hassle and maximise your skiing time!
  • Airport transfers are included in all prices

For our 4-day Ski Weekends – fly out on Thursday afternoon / evening and back on Monday evening.

For our 3-day Ski Midweeks – fly out on Monday afternoon / evening and back on Thursday evening.

All of our ski short breaks work around afternoon / evening arrival and departure times at Geneva airport.

Following this format ensures you get the maximum ski time and you will be able to enjoy 3 or 4 full days skiing.

Convenient ski resorts with quick airport transfer times

Our ski resorts are all selected for their convenient access and quick transfer times – with most resorts being just an hour or so away from Geneva.

Our airport collection times are not fixed, and we offer a wide transfer window on our fixed Monday / Thursday change-over days, during which we will be back and forth with our minibuses and mini-coaches – dropping and collecting people from our resorts to minimise any waiting time.

Arrival

For outbound travel to Geneva Airport, you should aim for flights that arrive between 1500 and 2115.

Our aim and intention is to meet you at the airport directly upon arrival. Occasionally, due to numbers, you may have to wait a short while for guests arriving on other flights. We always do our best to minimise any potential waiting time.

Departure

Departing flights should leave Geneva after 1600.
When booking later evening flights (after 2000), you can ski for almost all of your last day before heading to the airport. You will usually leave your resort around 3 – 3.5 hours before your scheduled flight departure time, depending on resort and the transfer requirements for that day.

Flights at Other Times

Please note that airport transfers at times outside of our standard transfer window can be arranged by us, but may incur an additional charge for the extra minibus journey (of up to 8 people). If multiple people also require a non-standard transfer at the same time, the extra fee will be shared between all passengers, and is payable locally on departure. Very late and very early transfers also incur an additional surcharge.

For example – some guests do choose to fly out early on their arrival day and sneak in an extra half day of skiing. We can accommodate this and arrange a non-standard early airport transfer with a supplement – although that first days lift pass is not included in your package price, and will need to bought in rosort when you arrive.

Finding the Best Flight Options for your ski short break

Geneva is very well served by flights from across the UK with Easyjet, British Airways and Swiss being the main carriers.

EasyJet have multiple daily flights from a wide range of UK regional airports:-
London Gatwick, Luton, Stanstead, Southend, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Bournemouth.

Swiss and British Airways provide regular links to/from the South East & London:-
London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London City.

Jet 2 also operate flights from the Midlands and the North of England:-
Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stanstead.

We advise booking as early as possible in order to get the cheapest flight prices – a lot of airlines now open their flights for sale as early as 12 months in advance.

One of the best starting points for finding routes or flights is the website www.skyscanner.net – you can use this to search for flights from anywhere in the UK to a specific airport, either on a single date or across an entire month, to find the cheapest fares.
