Biathalon World Cup

12th to 18th December 2011

For the first time ever the Biathalon World Cup will be held in our very own Grand Bornand. The new international stadium will hold the first stage of the Cup which will bring world class athletes to our slopes.

Christmas in Le Grand Bornand

19th to 25th December 2011

Start the seasonal festivities early with a week of magical events in Le Grand Bornand to get you right into the Christmas spirit. Street performers, magicians and musicians take to the streets to the backdrop of festive lights and snowy mountains, and if that’s not enough, why not try a bit of night time skiing?

Weekend Snowpark KGB

28th and 29th January 2012

Two days dedicated to all things freestyle. Events for both amateurs and professionals at the snowpark in the Maroly valley as well as evening events such as the KGB Night Session – a renowned freestyle spectacle! Come and watch the locals and pros alike pull some incredible stunts, maybe even trying out some jumps yourself.

La Bornandine

5th February 2012

400 cross country skiers gather each year to participate in either a half or full marathon through the Aravis mountains. This event has been taking place since 1986 and attracts cross country skiing’s elite.

Glisse en Coeur

24th and 25th March 2012

Teams of skiers participate in this 24 hour non-stop skiing event to raise money for charity. Live music and famous faces keep the atmosphere buzzing during the 24 hour challenge.
