The Ski and Snowboard Short Break Specialist

An unforgettable chance to ski or snowboard until 1am in La Clusaz, with just the light of the full moon to guide your way!

La Clusaz holds this unique event during full moons throughout the winter. Simply take the lift up Crêt du Merle and ski down in the moonlight,

stopping at mountain bars on the way to enjoy live music, vin chaud and the fantastic atmosphere that always accompanies these night skiing events. When you’ve skied enough for the evening, enjoy the party in the bars and clubs in La Clusaz.

A truly special event that will remain firmly in your memory long after you go home!

Full moon skiing dates for the 2017 -18 season

The full moon skiing nights will take place (weather dependent) on:

Saturday 3rd February 2018

Saturday 3rd March 2018.

You can enjoy this unique event as part of our 4 day Ski Weekend of Thursday 1st – Monday 5th February, or Thursday 1st – Monday 5th March, with prices starting from £609, with lift passes and airport transfers included.

The full moon night skiing weekends are always some of our most popular and will sell out quickly, so please send us an enquiry if you’d like more information about booking on this date!

(Please be aware that this event is completely dependent on clear weather on a specific night; without these conditions it can’t be run safely and will be cancelled or deferred until the next month. We unfortunately have no way of knowing in advance whether this will or won’t be the case on specific dates.)

How to go full moon night skiing

To take part in this amazing experience, come and spend the whole weekend skiing with us.

So close to Geneva Airport, La Clusaz ski resort is ideally located for ski weekends and short skiing breaks.

On the day of the full moon you can ski all day, have dinner in your accommodation and then get dressed to hit the slopes again that evening!

Lots of bars on the slopes have live music and dancing, the half pipe is floodlit, ice skating in the village is often open and the lifts run up to 1600m.

Full Moon skiing starts at 10pm and runs through to 1am. The atmosphere is electric and the experience quite unique.

If you are interested in a short ski break, whether for the full moon night skiing or any other dates, please check out the various options on our website, or contact us for further information.
