New Year ski packages This festive season we will be offering a range of New Year weeklong, New Year ski weekends and New Year midweek breaks – allowing you to ski and party in style whatever your time commitments.

On top of the skiing and our legendary service, enjoy sumptuous food and drink, great company and an infamous New Year’s Eve casino party complete with our own firework display.

New Year Skiing Short Breaks 2012 / 2013

If holiday is short but you still need a ski fix, our great value short breaks are for you – you can still book to ski over New Year 2011 – 2012. Our New Year’s ski weekend breaks avoid the more expensive Sunday flights. We also offer a popular Inter-Christmas break between Xmas and New Year for those with festive commitments.

Inter-Festive 3 days weekend: Thurs 27th – Sun 30th Dec 2012 = from £400pp
New Year 4 day ski break: Sun 30th Dec – Thurs 3rd Jan 2013 = from £585pp

New Year Skiing Weeklong Holidays 2012 / 2013

If you’re looking for a New Year weeklong skiing holiday then choose from either a Thursday to Thursday holiday or an 8 day Sunday to Monday. Both options will allow you to benefit from cheaper flights and far less crowded airports than at the weekends to make the most of your holidays.

The New Year 2012 / 2013 Ski Experience

Our aim is to make skiing at New Year 2012 – 2013 a special occasion for all. The ski slopes are open as normal over the New Year period, so whichever dates you choose you can be sure that our legendary service will be running to maximise your t New Year ski short breaks ime on the slopes and minimise the hassle.

We will pick you up from the airport, take you back to the lodge in less than hour to get your ski or snowboard equipment fitted and give you time for a few drinks at the bar before a 3 course dinner with wine. Enjoy the days skiing in La Clusaz and Grand Bornand, with our ski hosts showing you the best runs and lunch stops, or we can arrange lessons for you. Return every afternoon to tea and homemade cakes and a chance to relax in the sauna or bar before the evening dinner and activities.

New Year’s Eve in the Aravis Lodge is a memorable affair! It has become tradition here to celebrate the New Year in style – you are invited to join us in dinner jackets (or suits/jackets) for the gents and evening dress or similar for the ladies. Dressing up should add a little something to the evening and always provides the local villagers with some amusement.

Skiing over New Year The night starts in the Lodge bar with plenty of chilled champagne before dinner. Dinner will follow drinks, consisting of a sumptuous hot and cold buffet with plenty of red and white wine. After dinner put on your poker face as the party continues with a casino evening where the ski team double as croupiers! Our very own fireworks display, open to the village too, will welcome in 2012 before continuing the party back at the lodge bar.

New Year’s Day will be a normal ski day, although with a slightly later cooked breakfast than normal.

Please don’t worry if you feel that your best DJ or dress won’t survive the ski bag packing. Any effort is always appreciated and helps make the celebrations a little different and, hopefully, a New Year to remember!
