La Clusaz – Ski Holidays in an Ideal Resort for Short Breaks

The attractive and chic ski resort of La Clusaz lies in an open sunny valley, beneath the jagged peaks of the Aravis mountain range. The village retains its traditional unspoilt character, and despite only being one hour from Geneva, remains relatively undiscovered, enjoying quiet pistes, particularly midweek, making it the ideal getaway for a short ski break.

With its extensive and varied skiing across five mountains, great on-piste value, and a traditional Alpine atmosphere, it’s easy to see why La Clusaz’s popularity is on the rise.

The resort’s dependable snow record and good snow cannon coverage also means the wonderful variety of terrain can be enjoyed from mid-December through to the end of April.

Along with a modern fast lift network, this ensures hassle-free, season-long skiing, with an appeal to all.

La Clusaz Ski Resort – Key Facts:

  • 130km of amazing skiing & snowboarding (220km on Aravis lift pass)
  • Just 1 hour airport transfer from Geneva
  • Extensive ski area of 1100-2500m altitude
  • Picturesque, unspoiled Alpine village
  • Quiet slopes, fast lifts, few queues

Fabulous Skiing, just 1 hour from Geneva Airport

La Clusaz’s growing reputation for its off-piste terrain is complemented by its on-piste offer – 18 green runs, 30 blues, 29 reds and 7 black runs, as well as a renowned snow-park –  which makes it a ski resort to please everyone.

Each of the five inter-linked mountains has its own characteristics – from the free-ride bowls of La Balme, to the gentler tree-lined runs of Manigod, and the quiet but challenging L’Étale – yet all share a wide variety of good quality on-mountain restaurants and bars.

Coupled with the sister resort of Le Grand Bornand (10 minutes by ski bus), skiing in the Aravis offers an extensive 220km of piste, all just an hour from the airport – and all our holidays include a lift pass for the full Aravis ski region!
