SKI LESSONS

group ski lessons For several years we have worked with handpicked local instructors to offer in-house ski lessons. We will continue to offer small group lessons with a maximum of 6 students exclusively for our Skiweekender and Ski Midweeker guests this year too. Join our English speaking instructors for a series of 3 or 4 lessons designed for beginners, improvers and upper-improvers.

If you are looking for lessons during your holiday then we strongly recommend that you sign up for one of our courses of group lessons. These do need to be booked in advance. They represent the best value option for good quality English speaking tuition specifically designed to work around our weekend and midweek trips.

Our small group lessons

Instruction is on a daily basis and consists of four 2-hour lessons for Ski Weekenders and three 2-hour lessons for Ski Midweekers. With a 2-hour daily lesson you will soon see results and improvements - all at great value.

For Ski Weekenders – a course of 4 x 2hr lessons costs 110 euros (2009/2010 price - 2011 yet to be confirmed)

For Ski Midweekers – a course of 3 x 2hr lessons costs 90 euros (2009/2010 price - 2011 yet to be confirmed)

* Please note that for the group lessons we do require a minimum number of participants. If we are unable to operate group lessons we will contact you and present other options.

Which group is for me?

Please give us a clear indication of your ability when booking so that we can group you with other students of a similar ability. We can only guarantee lessons if they are booked in advance as often our groups fill up very quickly - particularly during February and other busy holiday times.

Private Lessons

For those looking for more particular advanced techniques, snowboarding lessons or 1-on-1 tuition at any level then we would suggest a private lesson.

We are unable to offer in-house private lessons but can provide full details of the various lesson options available at the ski schools in Grand Bornand and La Clusaz. They all offer English speaking instructors and can propose solutions to meet all of your requirements including specialist off-piste lessons, bumps and advanced techniques or first-time ski or snowboard.

Please note that during February peak season there can be limited availability for private lessons and prices can be higher. If you would like to receive our comprehensive lessons information then please call or email us to discuss options and receive details of our local ski school partners.
