Aravis Lodge Onsite Ski Hire
For those on our full service weekends, midweeks and weeklong holidays in La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, you can take advantage of our onsite ski hire service.
Arrive at the chalet, grab a glass of wine and relax while our trained and professional team find the right equipment for you at the most competitive rates around.
We have a comprehensive, well maintained range of skis, boards, boots, poles and helmets available for all abilities. There is something to suit everyone – from absolute beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders. The flexibility of ski hire onsite allows you to change, swap or upgrade your gear if desired throughout your holiday, so there is no issue with hiring skis then swapping to a board for a couple of days.
If you have your own boots then hire of skis and poles only is 60% of the prices outlined below.

Chalet Caroline Ski Hire
Those on our full service ski weekends, 3 day midweeks and weeklong holidays in Samoens and the Grand Massif can take advantage of our convenient ski hire arrangement with a local ski hire shop Roland Gay, who give our guests a 15% discount to their standard prices.
This shop is located at the top of the telecabine in Samoens 1600. On the first day you arrive we can take the lift at 8.30, get fitted up and be ready to hit the slopes by 9. With ski lessons starting at 9.15, you won’t miss a minute’s skiing. At the end of every day you can leave your skis and boots in the shop before getting the lift down, so you won’t even need to carry them anywhere, and can just pick them up again in the morning!
