Easter Ski Holidays 2011 - Weekends, Midweeks & Week long
Our
season finishes before Easter this year, on Monday 11th April. Easter is
on the 24th April. However, some schools seem to break up in time to take
advantage of our last weekend of the season, if not the midweek before as
well. The Easter Holidays are a great time to go skiing as the weather is
warmer and the evenings lighter (so ski lifts are open later) yet there
can still be lots of fresh powder to be had. During the Easter holiday weekend
in April 2010 there was lots of fresh snow which gave us some fantastic
end of season conditions on the north facing slopes,and, with the bonus
of blue sunny skies, helped us top up the tan!
